Elsworth Gene McMichael was born 27 January 1939 in Gentry County, Missouri and died 26 April 2026 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Kansas City. He was the son of Elsworth McMichael and Ethelda Ethel Ball. He married Judith Ann Keith 22 August 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri.

He was predeceased by his sisters, Elsie Ann Rainey Olny and Sharon Rogers Alexander. He is survived by his brother Gary Rogers/Debbie and his sister Donna Rogers Eskridge/Matthew. He is also survived by his daughters Mary McMichael Willsiams/Jerry and Rebecca McMichael Carnnahan. His grandchildren are Tyler William, Brandon Williams/Brooklyn, Jessica Carnahan and Joshua Carnahan and great grandsons Malachi and Josiah Williams

Gene graduated from Albany High School and Northwest Missouri State College. He was a member of the Missouri National Guard and he worked for the US Department of Agriculture for 32 years before retiring in 1994. He worked as a systems accountant in the Accounting Operations Division.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 20th at 2pm at Dolby Chapel at Colonial Presbyterian Church, 9500 Wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO 64114. A visitation will follow the service.
