CELEBRATION OF LIFE UPDATE:  Please join us to celebrate Jon’s life on Friday, January 31 at Westport Presbyterian Church, 201 Westport Road, Kansas City, MO, 3:00-6:00, service at 3:30.
Kindest and most loving of father and husband, inspired by all things nature, fisherman, hiker, camper, mountain seeker, master craftsman, talented architect, gifted chef, positive thinker, caring friend, music lover, creative soul, genuine spirit, peacemaker,Friday night martini drinker.

Jon manifested joy everywhere – especially in his family, with his friends and at his work. He loved his family honestly and deeply. Friends from every corner of his life were cherished. Bringing people together to cook elaborate meals and savor every bite was his favorite thing to do. He found his life’s passion for architecture at an early age and created many memorable architectural experiences.  Always ready with a warm smile and words of encouragement, his loving presence and playful spirit define his memory.

Wife Judi Bauer, daughter Willa, son Miles, mother Marion Knight, brother Gary Knight (Mary), sister Lisa Cool (Chuck), nieces and nephews and many beloved friends mourn his absence and celebrate his life. Jon and his family treasure all of you. A special message of gratitude goes out to all the caregivers who cared for Jon.
Memorial gifts can be made to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration, www.theaftd.org.
