KEITH EDWARD BOXLER

Aug. 5th, 1970 – July 18th, 2011. Keith Edward Boxler, 40, of Shawnee, KS, passed away July 18th, 2011 comfortably in his home. Keith fought a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. Keith was born August 5, 1970 to Wayne and Karen Boxler in Lyons, KS. A Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held at the Midland Theater at 1228 Main St., KCMO from 4:00-7:30pm on Monday, July 25th with the memorial service at 5:00pm. Please park, across from the Midland, in the parking garage on the East side of Main, north of Cosentino’s Market. All friends and family are welcome. Keith wanted this to be a “celebration” of his life and wanted everyone to visit and remember the good times. Keith is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of almost 18 years, Tracy Karnes-Boxler and their two children, Evan Boxler (14) and Brooke Boxler (13), his parents Karen and Wayne Boxler of Mesa, AZ., two brothers Len Boxler and family (Mary Liz, Daniel & Zakary) of Overland Park, KS., Steve Boxler and family (Nancy and Lia) of Anchorage , AK., and many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and wonderful friends whom loved him very much. Keith worked many years in the restaurant business, most recently as General Manager for California Pizza Kitchen on the Plaza. He had a true love of life and all those around him. He enjoyed getting together with friends and family as well as going to movies and keeping busy around the house. His very charming smile and jovial personality will surely be missed. Keith always said “it is what it is” and lived his life to its fullest without regrets. We miss you already Keith! Flowers may be sent directly to the Midland Theater, however, in lieu of flowers, the family would suggest memorial contributions to the 3 organizations that have impacted their lives.
