Signature Funerals is a locally owned, storefront, full service funeral firm that wants to provide you with a level of service that will help you in the best way possible. Because we are a smaller firm with much lower overhead than a traditional funeral home, we can offer you a personal approach with flexible options and pricing, based on your wishes. Bios

Avery Stingley grew up in Olpe, KS and received her Bachelor’s degree from Emporia State University in 2005. Shortly after college, she moved to Kansas City and started her career in Sales. In 2010 she went back to school at Kansas City KS Community College to become a licensed funeral director and embalmer. She lives in Kansas City, MO with her husband, Tyler, daughters Grace and Kinley, and son Hayes. They are members of the Platte Woods United Methodist Church and enjoy spending their free time with family and friends.

Based on a business concept that she saw in Australia, Cathy Boomer has produced her vision of a small, comforting, credible licensed funeral business to care for families. She is a licensed funeral director in Missouri. Cathy has spent the last 20 years providing technology solutions to large corporations in the midwest. She graduated from the University of Kansas with degrees in Political Science and Human Resources. Cathy was born in the Kansas City area, attended Shawnee Mission West High School and currently lives in Leawood. She is married to Russ Boomer and has 4 children ranging in age from 13 to 26. She is also the proud mother of an Air Force officer. She is a member of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection and has volunteered with Scouting, Sports and Church activites with her children.
