Mary Agnes Weber passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024.
We gather to remember and celebrate the life of Mary Agnes Weber. She was born on October 30, 1931 to George and Agnes Kendzora. She attended Holy Cross grade school and graduated from Glennon High School, class of 1949. She continued her education at Fontbonne College in St. Louis, Missouri. While there she began dating her nemesis from high school, John. She ended up falling for his humor and tenacity. Mary went to work in the office at General Motors while John joined the Navy. They continued dating and then she married the love of her life October 18, 1952. They were married for 66 years and shared the joy of raising their 4 children before his passing May 10,2019. Faith was an integral part of their lives and they were founding members of Saint Pius X Catholic Church.
Mary is survived by her son Mark Weber, and her daughters Ann Lundine, Sue (Pat) Upton, and Janet Turcotte. She is survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She leaves behind her brother, George Kendzora. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Agnes Kendzora, and her brother Jim Kendzora.
Remembrances can be made to Saint Pius Church
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at St. Pius X Catholic Church 5500 Woodson Rd. Mission, Kansas 66202. The rosary will be prayed at 9:30 followed by a visitation until the Mass begins at 10:30. A luncheon will follow the service at the church.
