In Loving Memory of Linda Diane Brennan

Linda Diane Brennan, 78, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025, at St. Joseph Medical Center, surrounded by the family and friends who loved her dearly.

Linda was a trailblazer in her professional life, becoming the first female Vice President in Kellermeyer Building Services. Over a remarkable 30-year career with the company, she rose from a part-time position through sheer determination, loyalty, and an exceptional work ethic.

She was blessed with a beautiful voice and found deep joy in using it to worship her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Linda was most alive when surrounded by babies, flowers, birds, or animals—especially dogs and cats. A passionate gardener, she cultivated vibrant flowers and plants that brought beauty and joy to everyone who visited her home. Her quick wit, playful spirit, creativity, and appreciation for life’s beauty touched everyone who knew her.

Above all, Linda’s greatest joy and deepest devotion was to her family. She cherished her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Her family was the center of her world, and she would do anything for her children and grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, John Brennan; her daughter Samantha Compton and husband Craig; her son Joshua Brennecke and fiancée Darlene; her daughter Sarah Willbrand and husband Jason; her stepson Chris Brennan and fiancée Karis; and her stepdaughter Kelly Brennan. She was the proud grandmother of Gabriel D’Angelo, Elizabeth D’Angelo, Nathan Compton, Blaine Brennecke, Jordan Brennecke, and Cassie Brennecke, and great-grandmother to Oliver Brennecke.

She is also survived by her sisters Patricia Goldstein and husband Al, Rose England, and Julie Judah-Braum and husband Jesus, as well as many other beloved family members and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Grace Robertson, and her brothers, Sonny Robertson and Kevin Robertson.

A memorial service will be held on: Thursday, May 29th, at Abundant Life Church, Johnson County Campus, 13400 W 119th St, Overland Park, KS 66213. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by the service at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wayside Waifs, an organization close to Linda’s heart.

Linda will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
