HELEN RITA HART
Helen Rita Hart, 85, of Kansas City, Mo., died June 15, 2012. Born in Kansas City, Kansas on October 20th, 1926, Helen was a lifelong Kansas City resident. She graduated with a degree in nursing from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in 1947. In 1967, Helen established and directed the Student Health Services program at Rockhurst University, where she remained as the school’s nurse for 18 years. She was involved in many church ministries, including Pro-Life, Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministry, RCIA, Marriage Preparation, Natural Family Planning, Fatima Apostolate and Sodality of Our Lady. She was also a Consecrated Widow in the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (S.O.L.T.). Helen was passionate in her promotion of the Home Enthronement – a ministry to bring the entire world, home by home, family by family to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. With her husband, she enthroned over 120 family homes. Helen died on the feast day of the Sacred Heart of Jesus! She was preceded in death by nine siblings, one grandson, and her husband of 55 years, Gene Hart. She is survived by a brother, Jack Rebel, as well as her 5 children Mary Klein, Micky Clark, Kevin Hart, Denny Hart, John Hart – and their spouses. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Services will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church, 1001 E. 52nd St., Kansas City, Mo., 64110 on Tuesday, June 19th. Rosary and visitation will begin at 9:15am, followed by funeral Mass at 11:00am. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sisters Servants of Mary, Kansas City, Ks, and Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, Kansas City, Mo. Assistance by funeral Advocates LLC
