Alexander (Sandy) Robb, 61, of Blue Springs, MO passed away May 18 after a 9 ½ year battle with mesothelioma.  Prior to his illness, Sandy was a litigator at Shook Hardy & Bacon and a partner and litigator at Stinson Morrison Hecker in Kansas City, MO.   After his diagnosis, Sandy became an active and valued board member of the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation and was a knowledgeable resource for patients, caregivers, and the bereaved.  He served on the board of the J. R. Albert Foundation, working to alleviate hunger in disadvantaged areas.  He will be remembered for his intelligence, wit, and fierce passion by all who knew and loved him.

Sandy is survived by his wife, Sue, his son, Alec and daughter, Elizabeth, his mother, Elizabeth Robb (FL), sisters Trish Robb (IL) and Carol Deese (TX), and his brother, Harry Robb (KS), as well as seven nieces and nephews.

A memorial service and open house will be held on Friday, May 31 from 6-8 PM in the St. John LaLande Parish Center, 805 NW R. D.
