Dear Erker Family,
I’m so sorry…
Andrew was one of my favorite students; I was so blessed to have him in 3rd & 4th grade! He was well liked and was the most respectful, kindhearted, compassionate young man. Brandon, a special needs student in our class, was attached to Andrew because of the endearing character qualities he displayed daily. Your family is dear to my heart, and I’m praying for God’s healing grace to comfort you all.
Warmly,
Kathy Wilhelm Sanders
I extend my sincerest condolences to Tom, Ryan and the entire Erker family. May the darkness of your grief turn in time to bright everlasting light.
Erker family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew Andrew from high school – he sat next to me in Ms. Dilloway’s chemistry class. He was the best person to struggle through chemistry with. He was always smiling, laughing and cracking jokes. His smile was infectious and I’ll always remember him for that! I lit a candle for him today in St. Patrick’s Cathedral in NYC. His warmth touched a lot of people, including me. Keeping your family in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Katheryn Mueller

The loss of one’s child is one of life’s greatest losses, where few words can offer comfort or ease the pain. I was fortunate to listen to Susie speak so fondly of all her nieces and nephews through the years. She has always been so proud of them all.
I believe that those who are the easiest to love are the hardest to say goodbye to. Know that you, and your family, are in my thoughts and prayers.

I played with Erker AKA “The Vitamin” at KSU. This comes as the biggest surprise ever to me. Never in a million years would I expect to get this type of news about a guy who brought so much joy to the people around him. He was a GREAT teammate, someone you would love to line up with any Saturday. I’m honored to be able to say he was my friend. My prayers go out to the Erker Family! Just know he left a lasting impression on all of us that will never be forgotten!
