Beverly J. (Wright) Cobb passed away peacefully on March 21, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.

She was born on May 28, 1941 in Roscoe, MO to John T. and Alpha S. Wright.  She was the youngest child born to that union.

She was a fun-loving, happy person who was game for anything and whose love and kindness were truly a sight to behold.  She loved God, her family, and her friends with her whole heart and without reservation.  In her spare time, she enjoyed many hobbies, including fishing, crafting, making beautiful quilts, baking, and cooking delicious meals for anyone who was hungry.

She cherished her blended family with her second husband, Jack W. Cobb.  She doted on her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Beverly was a selfless person who almost always put everyone else before herself.

She was, quite simply, the embodiment of joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings, and her husband, Jack.  She is survived by many family members who will miss her terribly.

Services were held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Belvidere Heights Baptist Church, of which she was a member until her death.

A private burial in Georgia will occur at a later date.
