Brenda Ruth Younger, 71, passed away September 4, 2023. She leaves behind her loving husband Gary along with daughter, Hollie Wages and son, Brock, daughter-in-law Nicki, brother John and his wife Robin, as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends. She also leaves behind her four grandchildren, Aidan, Avery, Carson, and Lucas and dog Gretchen. She was predeceased in death by her father Eldon, her Mother Gola Ruth Montgomery, grandmother Elsie Stoltenburg, and son-in-law Justin Wages.

Brenda was born on June 24, 1952, in Manhattan, Kansas. She grew up in Holyrood, Kansas with her brother John. She attended Hutchison Community College, Lindsborg, Bethany College, and Fort Hays State University. Brenda met Gary in 1974 and they shared a beautiful life with him for 47 years.

She enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, reading books, cooking for friends, crafting, and road trips.

A visitation will be held Monday September 11, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 with the rosary being prayed at 5pm at Signature Funeral home, 406 E. Bannister Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday September 12^th at Prince of Peace Church, 16000 W. 143rd St, Olathe, KS 66062.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Olathe Hospice House and Prince of Peace Church.

So very sorry for your loss Gary and your families loss. Brenda has had a lot of pain in her life but so much joy from all of you. She is now out of pain and watching over you all with that sweet smile
