Carol Jean Sweeney was born to her parents Jean and John Sweeney on November 29, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri. Born into an Irish Catholic family, she was the first of four children and the Sweeney family were members of Saint Elizabeth Parish. Carol attended Saint Elizabeth Grade School and Loretto Academy high school. Carol will be greatly missed by her large family and many friends throughout the greater Kansas City area. In recent years, Carol enjoyed special times with our Aunt June and cousin Dece Smith.
Such sadness for this beautiful woman that I was lucky enough to reconnect with the last 10 years long after our high school years at Loretto.
My prayers are with all the big family she leaves behind – in this sudden terrible loss🥵❤️‼️
Our Father who art in Heaven ……
My condolences to Carol’s family. Carol was such a good person. I enjoyed conversing with her on Facebook. We both shared the grief of losing our mothers. I know this is a great loss to her family.
“MAY THE ROAD RISE UP TO MEET HER AND THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT HER BACK” I went to St. Elizabeth’s with Carol and would spend the night at her house occasionally. We rekindled our friendship at our “50th” grade school reunion. Carol was a sweet lady. God’s Blessings to all of her immediate family and brothers and there families.

I hadn’t heard from Carol since the middle of January and it concerned me. I decided to try to find out what happened to her and discovered this. I loved Carol very much and will miss her greatly here on this Earth but will see her again in heaven she was such an awesome prayer warrior and very goid friend.
