Catherine (Holloway) Parks November 18, 1931 to January 25, 2022 passed peacefully in her sleep at the age of 90. She kept her sense of humor until the end. She was determined and relentless about any conviction she had. She was the largest Chiefs fan and got to witness the wildest game with everyone else as the Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills last Sunday night January 23, 2022.

Cathy gathered with her Alpha Phi sisters frequently and loved to golf. She was a connoisseur of art and traveled the world collecting her favorite pieces from Egypt to Paris. She was a travel agent for Maupintour and an ambassador at St. Joseph Hospital for many years. She is survived by her daughter Wendy (Parks) Acker, son-in-law John Fred Acker, granddaughter Jaclyn Acker Garland, grandson-in-law Brian Garland and great grandchildren Eli and Mitzi Garland. She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Ritchey Parks, her ex-husband John Vernon Parks, her brother William (Bill) Holloway and her parents Josephine (Ritchey) Holloway and Robert Holloway.

She had a life well lived and a humorous disposition. She was loved and will be missed. A celebration of life will be held at Signature Funerals in the spring of 2022 date and time are TBD. Reference cathyb6.sg-host.com for further information regarding the date of the remembrance.
