A Celebration of Cathie’s life will be held on Sun. Oct. 25th at 3:30pm at The Lake of the Forest Club House. Cathie was born Jan. 30th, 1958 in Kansas City, MO to Charles and Rosemary Coughlin. In 1976, Cathie graduated from O’Hare High School. She then attended Avila.
At the age of 19, Cathie married the love of her life and her best friend, Tom Edmondson, and had 3 children. Their first business they owned together was a carpet cleaning business. They then started a limousine company, which has become one of the largest in the Kansas City area, and still going strong today.
Cathie was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rosemary Coughlin.
Cathie is survived by her husband, Tom, children, Thomas Edmondson, Crisitie (Mark) Kipp, and Blaine Edmondson, four grandchildren, Audrey Kipp, Bella Edmondson, Lily Kipp and Sydney Kipp, one brother, Michael Coughlin, and one sister, Margaret Cochran.
Catherine was one of the founders and board member of The Health Awakening Now Foundation. It was the desire of Cathie, and the foundation, to find natural ways to preserve and restore health. The dozens of people associated with the foundation are a group of physicians and holistic researchers trying to filter through all the hype to narrow down what lifestyle changes and natural materials can truly unlock the body’s ability to “heal thyself”.
Cathie felt that because of this work she was healthier and lived longer than she would have solely relying on conventional medicine. It is her wish that the foundation continues to research and share how our lifestyle and environment weakens our bodies and perpetuates illness, and what natural materials are effective in reversing our deterioration. It was Cathie’s vision that the foundation not only be a source of knowledge but a place of support for the many “medical refugees” looking for a healthier way. Any free will contributions to the “Catherine Edmondson Fund” can be sent to: 206 Lake of the Forest Drive, Bonner Springs, KS 66012. Thank You in advance for your support…..Catherine & Tom
