It is with great sadness that I write this. I have always thought of Dave exactly how he is pictured; smiling, laughing, joking. I have such fond memories of him. My heart is with you today. I’m lifting you all up in prayers.
David was the oldest of “the grandkids”. He was my big cousin that I’ve looked up to and admired all my life. I will always cherish the memories of us “older cousins” spend time on our grandparents farm and all the wonderful times we spent with our grandparents. Thank you “Cuz”, I love you.
I contacted David around RHS reunion time last year…just to check in and say hello. I wish we would of continued conversation. We were friends early on in High School. Ran into him again at an alumni BBall game. But not since until the recent email communication. It’s a bittersweet thing to know David Loved the Bible and working with kids. Sweet because it’s a common bond we had unknowingly. Bitter because we never talked about it. I worked with youth in church for more than 25 years. We laughed a lot in high school, cross country, track and casually at school. Wish we would of stayed in touch. I’m glad for your legacy Dave. Blessings to your loved ones.
For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
