Jodi I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad,
Dear Marsha, I was so very sorry to hear of Gene’s passing. I regarded him as a good friend and work colleague. I have so many fond memories of working with Gene and good visits when I stayed with you and Gene in Visalia. I can only imagine your pain at this time. I will not be able to make it to Gene’s memorial but I will have you in my heart felt thoughts and prayers. God bless you and your family at this sad time and always.

Deepest condolences Marsha on Gene’s passing. He was a great colleague and friend with a million dollar smile. His passion for helping producers and their animals was his great gift to the world.
The Boomer Family
I had the opportunity to work and interact with Gene for many years here in Kansas and later at ADSA and DCRC annual meetings. He was a gentleman and scholar, and yes, he had a great smile.

Heart felt condolences and sympathy to the Boomer family on your loss. What a great man and veterinarian Gene was. So many memories! As I recall we were the first farm visit Dr. Boomer made when he came to Bern as he set up practice there very early in his career. Highest respect to him all through the years working with him. Also a note…Gene Boomer won the bale throwing contest every year he entered at our annual Bern Day Festival. Our sympathy, Stephen Hartter of Hartter Dairy
To Marsha & the entire extended family-
My wife Lisa and I share our deepest heartfelt condolences on the loss of our wonderful friend, Gene. My heart broke when I heard the news about his passing, as Gene was a dear friend and a professional mentor who taught me volumes about business, animal science, and how to be a faithful family man with class and grace. Marsha – you and Gene were my ‘Florida Parents’ during an important formative stage of my life, and you both always treated Lisa and I with compassion, a good dose of humor (we had some fun!), and a wonderful focus on family.
I will always remember the numerous farm visits I made with Gene around the Southeast dairy industry, and the great travel excursions that we were able to make together through our time at Monsanto and Church & Dwight. Gene had a magical ‘way’ with every person that he encountered, sharing that great smile and his dashing sense of humor, as well as the ability to tell a great story!
He was a very special individual who will be deeply missed by us all. As a faithful man, I know that he is enjoying paradise with his Creator. While it remains incredibly difficult for us here without him, I pray that God gives you all strength and eternal recollection of the wonderful impact that Gene left on this world. God Bless and give strength to you all.
Jonathan & Lisa Griffin
Marsha, you and Gene had a wonderful life together. You will always have these sweet memories. Thinking of you.
Gene was my best friend, and I couldn’t have wished for a better friend than he was to me. He was always kind to everyone, and always wanting to help others by sharing his knowledge that he worked so diligently to obtain, with others. There are so many people that have benefitted from his coaching and mentoring. He was someone that you could share your deepest thoughts and concerns with in complete confidence. We enjoyed so many wonderful times together in Mexico and Ecuador. He will be greatly missed by so many. I will look forward to the time when I can see him again on the other side.
