Joan E. Hoskins of Overland Park passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023 at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, David Hoskins, Sr.
She is survived by her children, David Jr. (Adriana), Kim Henderson (David), Timothy, and Tammy; grandchildren Coral (Josh), Layne (Celida), Sierra (KaVausea), Aliyah, Jackson, and Julian; and great grandchildren, Kannon, Kamden, and Josiah.Visitation will take place at the Overland Park Arboretum on July 13, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the OP Arboretum or City Union Mission.Joan left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed but her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be remembered forever.

She was the kindest woman we
have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She raised her children with that same kindness. She was deeply loved by all of Dave’s and Adri’s extended family. We watched from the front row as she loved Dave and Adri, Layne, Celida and Julian and it was beautiful ❤️. Our hearts go out to her immediate family for the loss of this lovely woman.
