Kenneth Gray, age 24 of Independence, Missouri passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 16, 2018
He was born on August 6, 1993 in Wichita, Kansas to Julie and Troy Gray. He was a 2011 graduate of Blue Valley North West High School.
Kenny, as he was known to his friends, loved his family and friends. He was a kind soul, who never met a stranger, always willing to lend a helping hand and quick with his smile. His big bear hugs would disarm the most intimidating. He will be missed immensely by so many. His life was far too short but we all find comfort knowing he is in our Lord’s arms.
He is survived by a brother, Sean Gray; mother and father, Troy and Julie Gray; grandparents, Duane and Ila Beemer; aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by grandparents Kenneth and Nelda Gray.
Family, friends and others whose lives Kenny touched are invited to a Celebration of Life Service, Saturday, June 23, 10:30 AM at City Church, 11432 E. Truman Rd, Independence, Missouri 64052. Lunch reception immediately following the service. The family requests casual, comfortable attire.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Miracle House/City Church in memory of Kenny Gray (mailing address: 11432 E. Truman Rd. Independence, Missouri 64052). An interment will be held in Abilene, KS at a later date.
