Lisa Suzann Ridnour-Schroeder

Lisa went into the presence of our Lord, June 27 2021.  Born March 20, 1964 in Jefferson IA, Lisa grew up in Rippey IA, and graduated high school in Gilbert IA.  She completed her Marketing degree from Iowa State University in 1986 and will forever be a Cyclone. Lisa married Rocky Schroeder on May 30, 1987 in Ames IA.

Although she worked outside the home most of her adult life her focus was always family.  Her devotion as a daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother was extraordinary.  She was passionate in her support for her sports teams and particularly enjoyed attending sporting events. Other interests included music, photography, cooking, and flowers.  She had a quiet personality, but was full of life; described herself as an introvert, but was never happier than when she was surrounded by good friends.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Gary Ridnour, and stepfather, Carl Watson.  She is survived by her granddaughter, Coraline Woolery; daughters, Callie Woolery (Caleb Woolery) and Molly Schroeder (Danny Szpyhulsky); husband, Rocky; mother, Susan Ridnour; and brother, Troy Ridnour.  She is also survived by a circle of close friends who supported her and genuinely loved her, she loved them like family.
