Mary “Mimi” Winslow Tyler Bier, 86, of Lenexa, passed peacefully at her home on Nov. 2 with her family by her side. She was born Oct. 9th, 1930, to Simeon and Mary Tyler of Webster Groves, MO. She graduated from Webster Groves High School and Grinnell College before moving to New York City to work for the Rockefeller Foundation. While there she meet the love of her life, Charlie Bier, who she wed on Feb. 5th, 1955. They had a wonderful life together, filled with family, friends, and world travel.
She is survived by her husband, daughter Sally (Allan) Jensen, Plattsburg, MO, son Charles of Boulder, CO, grandchildren Kelsey and Keaton Jensen, and many friends.
Memorial service for Mimi will be held on Nov. 10 at 7pm at Knox Presbyterian
