Mark Wayne Davison, age 50, passed away March 4, 2021. Mark was born January 6, 1970, in St. Charles, Missouri, to Bill Davison and Denise (Mellor) Davison. With dual citizenship in the United Kingdom and the United States, Mark lived in both countries at various times in his life. Mark moved with his family to the United Kingdom in middle school, completed high school in the UK, and then returned to the United States to serve in the Air Force. He returned to the UK after he finished his service, but came back permanently to the Kansas City area in the early 2000’s.

Mark worked as a commercial driver for FedEx for many years, and when he was not on the road in his semi, he could often be found cruising on his motorcycle or at the gun range. Mark had a golden heart and would help anyone who asked while never asking for assistance himself.
Mark is preceded in death by his father, Bill Davison, and is survived by his mother, Denise, and his brother, Sean (Sandy) Davison. He leaves behind uncles, cousins, and other family who will miss him far more than he knows.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow..
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circle flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.
