Michael Watson, 33, of Overland Park, KS, passed away on February 23,
2013 at 3:50 p.m., at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in
Overland Park, KS of complications due to a brain tumor.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2 at

The Presbyterian Church of Stanley 14895 Antioch Rd. Overland Park, KS
66221. Pastor Marilyn Sweet, of The Memorial Presbyterian Church in

Marysville, will be officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, March

1 between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. also at the church. Burial will follow

the funeral at Pleasant Valley Cemetary in Overland Park.

Mike was born in Ottawa, KS on June 4, 1979. He graduated from Shawnee

Heights High School and attended college at Washburn University. As a
final, selfless act, his healthy tissue and organs were donated to
those in need.

Mike is lovingly remembered by his wife, Erin, who he married on
December 4, 2010. He is survived by his parents, Warren and Beth
Watson of Topeka; brother Wade Watson of Topeka; sister Amy Keim of
Auburn, KS; sister Kelli Watson of Lenexa, KS; daughter Parker Stroud
of Topeka; grandparents Warren and Betty Watson of Ardara, PA. Mike is
preceded in death by grandparents Isadore and Marjory Salm of Dodge
City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be mailed to: Mike
