Patrick was born March 31, 1964. He married Karen, his life long best friend; together they raised four beautiful children, Erin, Danny, Kevin and Molly. Pat was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lelah Henderson. He is survived by his many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly.
Pat graduated from O’Hara High School, Rockhurst University and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas Law School where he was a member of the Kansas Law Review. Pat was a successful attorney and shareholder at the Polsinelli Law firm at the time of his death.
Pat’s greatest joy was being with his wife and their children. He loved the mountains, and spent many wonderful vacations there with his family. At home, he enjoyed hosting and cooking for holiday gatherings. You could always find him making popcorn, watching movies, playing games, and fishing with the kids. Pat had a witty sense of humor; he has been described as the funniest person without ever having to tell a joke. With deep love for all those around him, he poured himself into everything he did for others, never asking for anything in return.
Pat will be forever loved and remembered by all the lives he touched. He had a deep love of family and friends. His kindness and generosity will live on to inspire each and every one of us. God blessed our family with a kind, compassionate, and humorous man to be a beloved husband, father, brother and friend. He will be missed forever. Assistance by Funeral Advocates, LLC. Dear Linda and all family members,
I was so sad to hear of Pat’s death. I have wonderful memories of his time in high school. He was, as mentioned, always funny and full of spirit. He enjoyed everything he was doing, and if he was not, he fixed it so the situation was made better. I know all of you will miss your beloved brother, husband, father, friend. May memories of him and his contagious laughter offer you comfort.–pete
