Therese went to work full time when her youngest turned 4 years old, starting as a receptionist for a fellow parishioner at Dujakovich Plumbing. She moved on to American Academy of Family Physicians where she worked in their membership department until her retirement in 1996. Her work didn’t end there, as she became the caregiver for her grandchildren Catherine and Emily from their births in 1998 until their grade school closed in 2010.

My Aunt Therese was as close to a saint that I’ve had in my life. It would take a book to share all of the stories of her love and unconditional kindness to all.
God Speed my beloved Aunt.

So very sorry for your loss. May God wrap His loving arms around all of you.
I went to O’Hara w/Annette, where we began our friendship our Sophomore year. I always have had such admiration for Mrs. Cordry, especially after becoming a mom & the a single mom when my kids were 6,5 & 2 yrs. old. I thought of Mrs. Cordry many times in those days. I wondered how she did it w/10 as I struggled w/just 3. I started referring to her as America’s Mother Therese. For that she was. Her strength, Faith, Love, Unselfishness, Laughter was Amazing. I remember one time clearly. As Annette, along with other girlfriends, sat around, I was asking her questions of her young adult life. She beamed as she told her life story & I was just in awe of her. I know she will be horribly missed, but do remember you will still feel her spiritual presence as I do w/my mother. I pray when you feel her, that you stop what you’re doing & let her know you feel her & how much you Love Her. Also, remember the Peace & Love she is surrounded with now. With No More Sorrow & No More Pain.🙏😇🫶

Sorry for the loss of your mom. She was a strong woman to live to 92. We are praying for your family.
As sweet as I knew that your Mom had to be, I am sure that the saints, angels, God and the Trinity welcome her to everlasting peace and grace in heaven. Bless her and her family.
Dear Pat and family,
I am sorry to hear of your mom’s death. There are vivid memories of both you and Mark Burns speaking so sweetly of her, laughing, and going to visit. With hope and prayers and sympathy. Margaret Patterson
What a wonderful and saintly woman. My favorite aunt and I never heard a negative comment about anything g from her.
Sending my sorrow and love to the Cordry Family. My husband, Tom Gnefkow (who sadly passed away in 2022) was a school mate of Pat’s & we are his lifelong friends. We grew up in KC & had many great times together over the years! Thinking of you all and sorry I am unable to attend services as I live in Thailand now, near our daughters.
