To the family of Bill Duff – I was deply saddened to read of Bill’s passing. I knew Bill and his brother Tom in HS, Bill and I graduated together and I have very good memories of Bill and Tom and all the people we hung out with in HS. Condolences to the entire family. The Class of 1973 has lost another classmate. I am so very sorry for your loss. RIP Bill.
After Bills fire, I did get people together. Funny is they all said, why worry he’s got money. My response was he needs friends and simple needs! He received clothes and menial life goods! A year later my business burned down, and who was there My friend Bill!!! I do so wish I can see Gerrit again and let him know of his dad’s good times, I do not know all of them, but my 16 years of hanging out with him was a fortunate and great experience! It’s amazing to know someone that has more, but doesn’t flaunt it and is real.Bill is, was, and will always have a a place in my heart.
